TECH INFO:

To more safely short the pins on J4 for defaulting a board, cut the wires from a battery that is known to be useless. Use that as a jumper wire for the pins. Once the relay fires, remove the jumper.

INSIDE Phones that are set for NO incoming calls will still ring one or one-half cycle before the PCM answers. If this still concerns the customer, there is a ringer on/off jumper next to the small piezo speaker (ringer). Move the jumper from ON to OFF position, so the piezo speaker makes no sound at all.

DRUG PHONE SHUT-DOWN: Does not cut-off dial-tone at the phone. Options can be set to restrict certain call types only, or all call types. The times for shut-down can not be set for certain days of the week. This feature effects the phone every day of the week.

VERIFY AUTH CODE: If the call is going to the OSP, but not being completed (intercept, or other OSP failure), or the LEC operator is answering; you can check the OSP AUTH CODE, set in register 320.
